Linton Investments was started in 2007 by Morgan Linton in Boston, MA. The initial focus of Linton Investments was the acquisition and development of keyword-rich Internet domain names. In October of
2007 Linton started his blog about
Domain Investing. Over the course of the first year in business Linton Investments acquired over 1,000 domain names across
18 different TLD's with strong coverage in more than ten countries around the world.
In 2008 Linton Investments re-located to Los Angeles and the Domain Brokerage division was started. In 2009 Linton Investments started a
Domain Brokerage Newsletter. As the Brokerage business began to grow
Linton Investments hired the first addition to the Brokerage team, Tim Long, who is based in Pennsylvania.
In April of 2009 Linton's blog was rebranded to Domainvestors.tv as he embraced the .TV TLD and added rich-media content to the blog. In November of 2009 it was ranked in the
top twenty blogs about Domain Name Investing. In the fall of 2009 Linton Investments launched Linton Broadcasting to produce a new television show
focused on Domain Name Investing to be released in February of 2010.
In 2010 Linton Investments is launching an International Domain Brokerage service with Brokers located in England, Australia, and Japan to help meet the growth of International Domain Investing.
